Proud Parents.

Last night we went to Truman for the School of Business Recognition Dinner to honor 'outstanding students'. We are so proud of Eric for receiving a new scholorship for his grad-school studies! Eric was also elected as vice president for his BAP business fraternity for next year, and recently attended the national meeting in Omaha, NE. He will also attend the International convention in August in Brooklyn, NY (all expense paid--thank you very much) We were happy to meet his facilty advisor last night, and she is as 'neat' of a lady as Eric has bragged her up to be. I am more than happy that she will be traveling with him in August.
It is so hard to even say how fast these 4 years have gone, and Eric has always studied hard to acheive, and excel and we just couldn't be prouder of him. In his personal life he has seen much growth and maturity too, and I do think when the time comes we will be able to let go of our 'baby' and let him soar like his brothers before him. (but we STILL won't like it :-)
We love you Eric...We are proud of you, and we can NOT wait to watch you walk across that stage in 2 weeks to received the diploma you worked so hard to earn.

Eric-congrats on your achievements!! That is awesome.

Will you be able to see Adam at all when you go to Brooklyn?? That would make it twice as nice!

Way to go cousin!! You have clearly had a much more productive career at Truman than I did! Keep up the good work!

Jess, don't sell yourself short. YOU made a HUGE impact on Eric going to Truman, with your enthusiasm for the school and all the friends you'd made there, as well as the fun you'd had. Much of Eric's success was from choosing the right school for him, and you played a big role in that. (you SOLD me, and we were paying the bill....so you touched all our lives in a special way that day) Your life just took a different path, leading you to Danny and Hailey, and I can not be sorry for that, as I love you all.

Congrats Eric, thanks for spending time with Sarah and her Dad. Also thanks to Julie. She loved it but I am still wanting Springfield. More schools to look at.
