I know I was really little when Great Grandpa and Great Grandma died, but I DO remember bits and pieces of them. I remember sitting at the funeral too. I especially remember their backyard and playing there.
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT GRANDMA ALWAYS MADE EACH OF US HER FAVORITE. GRANDPA DID NOT CARE WHO KNEW. I HAPPEN TO KNOW WHICH ONE WAS THEIR FAVORITE. WE WERESO LUCKH TO HAVE THEM IN OUR LIFE. I WOULD JUST LOVE TO BE THERE ONE MY LISTENING TO PAUL HARVEY, EATING FRID POTATOES AND FISH. SHE WOULD PUT MAYO ON SLICED BANANA'S WITH PECANS. I STILLMAKE THME. Jill loves to hear the story of her sitting on Grandpa's lap while Grandma made baby food from scratch for her.
I have fond memories of both of them. So sweet. But Grandpa was good at pretending to be crabby.
