Just Got Back.....

from Springfield. Cindy and I drove over to Springfield to have lunch and do a little shopping. I am a little amazed that we both still enjoy each others company. We had a nice day together. On the drive over we didn't even play the radio, we just talked. I think that is pretty good for a couple that has been married for 28 years. Luckily we have enough people in our families to talk about, that helps. It is official, Cindy went off the deep end today, she actually bought 3 really cute baby outfits, when I asked who they were for she said "Our grand kids" Huh? She didn't mean Kirby either. The Bozarth Biggest Loser seems to be going pretty good for everyone, myself I am very pleased with the results so far. Ate at Chili's today, yumyum but I will be back on the bike and diet tomorrow.

I'm glad you're doing well on BBL. With Austin and LA trips, I am lucky to have stayed the same. This year there will be no excuses. It's all on me. (And it shows.)

I'm not surprised you and Cindy still enjoy each other's company. As JFK you have charisma and Cindy reminds me of a young Marylyn Monroe.
It's just another manic Monday, how I wish it were Sunday.

SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT:
1. Joe ate well at Chili's...but probably a little too much.
2. I talked, (no surprise) Joe listened. Oh, I let him get a word in, but usually interrupted(no surprise again) He's a good listener.
3. The 3 outfits are NotreDame outfits, and they were too cute for words. AND ONE SALE. Couldn't resist. I told him for my grandkids as a joke, though Eric laughed about it and said they might be full of moth holes by the time I could give them. They really are for the first boy that comes along that can appreciate my love of ND.....Nate????
4. Joe is right about having a great day together. Who can fault a husband that will give up his Sunday to take me to do what I love most (bargain hunting) when he'd rather do almost anything else? And in 2 more "Joe Years" we may do it again. (joe seems to think that years pass differently in his life---I called him John) You had to be there.

I believe this is why the NFL has a two week break before the SuperBowl...so husbands/fathers can spend this entire Sunday with the family "prepaying" for SuperSunday...didn't mean to blow your cover Joe (oh shoot, Beth reads this too).

That's some funny shit Matt, I never thought about it that way. I thought they were doing it for the players and all the time it was for us. Thank You NFL. It worked here.
Actually I could not get the monday after super bowl off so I might sleep though it like I did last year.

John and I have no problem talking either-although at this time of life it is "house" and usually the same topics over and over....glad your day was fun. There are always babies to buy bargains for...or just to buy the bargain and then find the baby....maybe Kirby's new walking outfit?

So, no divorce? You two actually like each other. Shocking.
