WELCOME HOME JOHN

Hopefully you will get home today. The last I heard you were scheduled to be release this morning. Looking forward to making you laugh so you will become unglued, literally. No stitches just glue, we'll see if it holds. There was a lot of jokes made at your expense Tuesday, to bad you were unconscious to hear them so you can use them over and over again. I am sure when you are better you will have plenty of new jokes from this experience.
Like how much you love J-E-L-L-OThanks bro for always being there, even those times I didn't want you there. I can always count on you. Get well soon.

I'm with Kelly...I want you home and YOURSELF again!!! Get Well SOON> And NEVER do that again!

My personal favorite 'joke at your expense' during your surgery was from your son, Matt. After HOURS and HOURS of surgery, Matt said "It's taking this long because they are still looking for his funny bone to remove it" I cracked up....and boy did we all need something to laugh about by then.

Thank Goodness Ellie was there with a smile for anyone that needed one, and we all did at some point that day. She was our own little angel.

Get well...and we did get the Dr to admit you were SOLID...we all heard it, so there is proof now.

Welcome home John...so glad to hear that the surgery went well. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during your recovery at home.

As far as the laughing goes, that's going to be a little painful on the abdomen for a week or two.

Well, we all know by now that you didn't make it home today and you don't feel much like laughing.
Joe had a funny comment also while we were waiting and you might appreciate it later. It was probably about 7 or 7:30 and we felt like we had been there for days, Joe said, "I just figured out what John means when he says Tuesday a week."
Hope things turn around for you soon. I'll see you in the morning.
Love you.
