ANYBODY?
Did anybody put their shoes out last night? Am I the only one that is trying to get the St. Nick movement started again? It seems everyone wants to celebrate the more widely known holy day of Christmas while the man who started it all takes a back seat. Well I say how about next year we give gifts on December the 6th and celebrate Christmas the way it should be. Nah! I am sure I couldn't get any good after St Nicholas Day bargains.

For some unknown reason, St. Nick doesn't visit when you live alone.
St Nick always comes visit true believers Jer...
I got a wonderful CD/MP3/clockradio/soothing sound machine.....it is great and Joe hooked me up with a mp3 player FILLED with only Christmas music. I love going to work now with fun music to listen to.
woohoo....I just found MORE St Nick gifts in shoes I left out in the living room...gum, snickers and new dress socks. Yay for me! I better keep looking around, I leave shoes out all over the house!
I love that you two celebrate St. Nicholas day the way we did when we were kids. Maybe next year I'll need to leave my door open, because I sure left my shoes out (all over my bedroom). :) Now Gus and I are at work, catching up on "stuff."
We put our shoes out. At 6:30 this morning I woke to the sounds of crinkling in the living room. Drew and Noah were digging in their shoes. 20 minutes later I hear Aiden out there with his brothers and I could tell by the way he was talking that his mouth was full of Hershey Kisses!! Love it. What a way to start the day!
Todd and I never put ours out. Hmmm maybe I should try that next year!
passed this year-2 houses would confuse Santa! I always did with the kids-even when I forgot until during the night and had to hunt for something to use! I am not sure St Nick ever brought gifts here like Cindy is getting...she must have been a really good girl this year!
I meant to do that this year & got caught up & forgot!
Love this tradition but we don't do it here. Just a little too much going on this month, I guess:)
Joe and Cindy, you two are so cute together.
Joe and Cindy, I agree with Jer you are cute! I think St. Peter's used to do a St. Nick thing at school, but we never did it at home. We did however, have elves, that put a small present in the girls stockings, every night starting on the first night of Christmas vacation at school. They would be so excited over the smallest toy, because the elves had visited. Christmas is so much fun when you live in a house that Santa visits!
Happy Birthday John!
I like your new background Joe!!!
