The First Night at SDC

When we arrived there it was pretty hard to get in the mood. It was still early and none of the lights were on and it was sooooo warm. But after we watched a show it had cooled off and night had fallen so the Christmas lights were all on. It is just so cool that everywhere you walk there is Christmas light. We ended the evening watching A Christmas Carol. It is such an excellent musical, we just love it. Off to bed, shopping in the morning and then back to SDC.
Yep that Santa is $12,000. I bought it for Cindy for her birthday. haha text me

Isn't that Santa INCREDIBLE...when you have 12K to spend on ONE decoration is when you have more money than sense!!! Joe did buy me a Christmas CD by the trio of woman who's show we saw (Pure Heart) and I can't wait to hear more of them. I also can't wait to see if the video snips we took of the piano player worked...his hands were moving so fast they were a blur--He was INCREDIBLE. His BA was in Percussion Art...didnt even know there was such of a degree. Looking forward to a funnel cake, wassail, the saloon show and train ride tomorrow...along with more beautiful lights....and maybe another roller coaster ride...Joe didn't take well to Wildfire this year..but he did it. Maybe Thunderation tomorrow =]

You guys are so stinkin' cute. Sounds like you are having fun already.

I haven't heard of those rides....but then it's been 14 years since I've been there and they didn't have any rides open on thanksgivig weekend. I was bummed!
Is Fire in the Hole still there? That was always my favorite ride.

Have a smoked turkey leg for me. Todd still makes fun of me for tearing into one of those. He doesn't know what he was missing!
