SDC day 2
Well the Silver Dollar City part of our vacation is over. Sorry Kelly I did not have a turkey leg, it was $8.50. But I did have plenty of wassail for you. I am already depressed because we didn't get to do all that we wanted to. Cindy said we will just have to do that stuff first when we come next year. :) I guess that answered the question, Are we going to Branson next year? More shopping tomorrow then tomorrow night we are going to see the Duttons, a family musical act that was on America got talent a couple years ago.

How can you ever fit all of SDC into a few days? Sorry that it is closed on Mondays. So glad the weather cooperated with your trip-wasnt looking good last week....drive safely home

It's ok about the turkey leg, I love the wassail too. Yum! Might be good to make for thanksgiving or christmas. Glad you are having fun. Have a safe trip back!

Kelly, I made a big batch of Wassail last year...Riley and I are the only ones who enjoyed it. Actually think I ended up throwing most of it down the drain. Perhaps I'll make a batch for the Bozarth Christmas this year, that way I'll have lots of people to help me drink it! :)
There is absolutely NO WAY that pictures can capture how beautiful all the lights are...it really is magical. This year, with the weather, it was SO crowded though which is why we had trouble getting it all done. It was really warm for November but it still amazed me how poorly some parent dressed their children...even small babies for the weather though.
Kelly...don't let uncle Joe fool you...he doesn't eat dark meat, so he wouldn't have had a turkey leg if they were giving them away!!! I heard someone at a table near us say that Dollywood really was much the same but that SDC had Amazing Food in comparison....and it is. Just seemed weird they were serving dipping dots, ice cream, and FROZEN lemonade as fast as they were wassail.
Deb...I'd love to try your wassail....it is WONDERFUL. What gives it that red color?
NOW off to go shopping girls...Branson Landing is a fun time, and this is the first time the weather has been nice when we've done that.
