A DAY NOTICE

In past years I would always tell you the day you should have put out your shoes for St Nicholas and by then it was already to late. So here is a day notice. Tomorrow you leave your shoes out and St Nicholas will leave you candy(not you Cindy). It is for the children.
Dec 6th is the Feast of St. Nicholas
Dec 7th stores open early for the after St Nicholas day specials

THANK YOU! The boys have already been talking about it but they don't know what day it is. I knew it was coming up but wasn't sure of the day myself. Usually I find out that night at bedtime when they tell us they talked about it at school and they put their shoes out. Then I'm scrambling around the house. I'm prepared this year and now I know the day. I just hope Jack doesn't steal from the shoes....he's already taken a number of ornaments from the tree and scattered them around the house.

I have no children here-and afraid if I put anything in John or Nate's shoes-they would just slip their foot and wear it all day, wondering what the bump was

Last year at the day after St. Nicholas sales I got slightly used, never worn, brand new antique shoes at the cobbler shop for big and tall and ugly shop.

Paulette should be more worried John or Nate would injure themselves somehow by having candy stuffed in their shoes. How are Nate's stitches doing? No infection I hope!

St Nicholas DID remember me...I knew he would...and he was even discouraged when he couldn't find a pair of my shoes...he left me goodies in my purse!!! Thank you St Nick...you're a saint.
