Luke's Baptism Day

Luke on his Baptism Day, May 22, 2011. He is just so precious!
Not a peep when he is Baptized, and his mommy's smile says it all. A joyful celebration!
The godfathers light the baptismal candles from the Easter Candle. Joe takes his task very seriously. Now to keep the light going......
....which as not easy with the walk back to his place, the air conditioning kicking on, and 2 little helpers just waiting for the signal that the candle can be blown out. By Joe's smile, you can tell he is really enjoying his 'job' as godfather! The proud Godfather with his adorable new Godson. He was so thrilled to be given this honor and was sure "his time" had passed to ever be asked again. You can tell how proud his is.
This week Joe talked about getting a picture with all 4 of his godchildren, but sadly Jordan could not join us today, but he still wanted one with his First, and only goddaughter, Kelly, our only shared godchild, Nathan, and his newest one, Little Luke......Joe is blessed with so many young people in his life, and he loves them all so much. God has truly blessed us with a wonderful family that we love spending time with. I am sure Joe is already making plans to show Luke Colorado, how to play Red Rover, and hopefully someday, sharing a camp out or two. "Let the little children come to me" Luke 18:16

Great pictures! It was such a beautiful day in so many ways. Todd and I were talking on the way home how nice it was hanging out on the patio in the gorgeous weather with everyone. So relaxing and the kids all played so good. Joe was the cutest Godfather.

Such a beautiful blog-the pictures and the sentiment. Joe has been the best Godfather to my 2-as I know he will be the Luke (that gorgeous blanket is a fine start). It was just the most perfect day.
