Woke up yesterday morning to the words.... Dad my computer doesn't work. Ok Cody I can fix it. I like working on computers. It will be fun, father and son bonding. Well we took it apart, tried different parts in it, tried his parts in my computer and tried to even set up an old computer for him to use but had no luck. I think his hard drive and motherboard said bye bye. So there goes 4 hours of my time playing around with computers with no end result. OK not quite like a Kelly story yet. The computer was over 5 years old and has heavy use so it was time to put it down. Now to the good part. About a month ago Cody's battery quit working so I jumped him and he took his car to WALMART(you already know I love them) We said just get a cheaper battery and we will pay for it. So off he goes. All went well until yesterday. He went over to get gas and when he tried to start it............. nothing. So a friend jumped him. Off he goes to the mall. After shopping out to his car.............. nothing. That's when super computer dad comes in. I am working on his computer and get a call that his car won't start.
Awwwwwwwwww poopie
So off I go to the mall to jump him with the temperature at 5 degrees and 20 mph winds. But first I had to drive to Cindy's work to get the cables out of her car. After 45 minutes of trying to jump him no luck. So it is going to have to be towed. Do I tow it to WALMART because if it isn't the battery they can't fix it? So I decided to tow it to the Chevy dealer.
Chevy calls and says " Joe we got your daughters car ready" HUH? OK what was the problem? Well it seems the bolts to hold on the cables to the battery had to much acid and corrosion on them and were not making a good connection. WALMART should have replaced them.
So are cheap battery at WALMART has cost us over $175
THANK YOU FOR SHOPPING

Aw, Joe, that bites. Hope all is fixed or will be soon.
First Eric is dating his SISTER,(funny story) and NOW I have a DAUGHTER....I knew my day would come to have girls to spoil. Poor Joe always gets the brunt of 'repairs', but don't let him kid you...any "HOURS" he spends fiddling with computers is FUN for him. His only disappointment is that he couldn't say "wal-la" it is fixed. He also forgot to tell you that Cody's car was AT the Chevy dealers BODY SHOP less than 24 hours prior to the battery incident to have the driver side mirror replaced because it was knocked off by a shopping cart (where else??) AT THE WALMART....
I think Walmart is starting to have some bad vibes...... Yep, sounds like a Kelly/Todd day.
We're having some fun here. You know my poor kid with the stitches?? He is now running a fever and just threw up his Tylenol on me. Nice, huh??
Aren't car repairs fun???? and you get to do computer repair work too....how lucky can you get! I would say stay away from Walmart...but the prices are usually too good. Tell your "daughter" Hi
