Looks like this years' picture will be the first snowy one in awhile. Wear those boots!

I think it was 2003 that it was freezing rain when we were out there. The wind came out of the north, snow started to fall and by the time people left our house there was 12 plus inches of snow. I will never forget that day. I just can't remember the year. I had put our Christmas tree out front, John was going to take it but when he left you couldn't even see where it was. Ah good times.

I declare the 2008 celebration a huge success...COLD, but successful. I had a great time and hope everyone else did too. May all your dreams and hopes for 2008 come true. I often marvel how blest this big ol' family has been in SO many ways, but mostly in the blessings of our children and now their children.

I can't wait for this year's picture. I hope all of you weighed in today. I know I did and I am shocked and motivated. Hang in there.

We had a blast as always. Thanks Joe and Cindy for having us all over twice within a week. You are saints for that.

We loved it, especially New Years. It is more relaxing and a lot for fun. Thanks to Cindy for all the work she did. It wouldn't happen without her.

Joe, the big snow was Jan 1st 1999...the reason I'll never forget the date is that we built the cabin in '98 and I camped a few days after that storm in over 16 inches of snow, 20 below wind chills, and the cabin had no insullation or soffet...that's the weekend we discoverd Mike's Place eatery in Liberty since all our food and drink froze solid.

Thanks as well for New Year's, I now feel a real bond with the Settlers of CATAN. Too bad game day can't be 3 days long.

ditto on the good time! Like always you make us feel welcome and relaxed so we can all have a great time. I also love Catan and am it's Lord.

I love the pictures, Joe. Thanks for posting so many of them. I'll steal the latest. :)

And thanks to both of you, Joe and Cindy, for the wonderful wonderful New Year's Day. That alone was worth the price of the airfare. Love, Jer (plus I won money at poker)
