My Godson is 11 Today

We were glad to be invited to join in the fun of my Godson's 11th Birthday today. We prayed all week for a beautiful day because all Drew wanted this year was to spend the day at Grandpa John's cabin. Our prayers were answered.

Drew with his cake and gifts

The fun of the day: A Rope!!! Jump rope, tug-o-war and just tying Uncle Joe up insued.

By the end of the celebration we were all tuckered out from the fun, the sun and fresh air.....some more than others....

Thank you again Kelly and Todd for the wonderful day, but mostly for the wonderful young man in our lives, who I always treasure as my own special Godson! NOW>>>off to do a load of laundry...I hope I remember how to tackle the grass stains that my "little man" got today =]

The weather really was so much better than I thought we would get. It was the perfect day. Who knew a long white rope could bring so much fun and laughter? Drew said he had a great birthday and that was all I needed to hear! Thanks for everything, I may need some copies of some of these great pictures!

Looks like everyone had a great time. Glad the weather turned out to be sunny. Hard to believe that the first of the cousins is 11 already.

So glad you all had a fun time! Happy belated birthday Drew!

I intended on wishing you a 'happy birthday' when we picked Riley up...sorry I forgot; the mind is the first thing to go.
