HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

What a day.
So many things happened on this date in the Bozarth family history.

Who can forget dad's famous speech "ask not what Elaine can do for you but what your kids can also do for you". And great grandpa's speech about how all Bozarth's are created equal. Seems like only four score and seven years ago, doesn't it? He had a dream that someday all little Bozarth kids can play with little Clark and Bruening kids.

And as far back as July 4th 1776 a day that will live in infamy. Who can forget the most famous of all, Humphrey Bozarth who was there the day the Declaration of Independence was signed. Yes Humphrey was there taking it all in...... and then cleaned up after. Oh I almost forgot Walter Raleigh Bozarth that crossed the Delaware. Yes on this day Walter crossed the Delaware bridge and ran into what would have been the first firetruck on the scene of the great Chicago fire.

And also on this date Zebulon Bozarth tried to drive up Pikes Peak but ran out of gas. Why is that important. Because he has been the only Bozarth ever to run out of gas.

Ky Wong Dong Bozarth was the first president after the Philippines gained their independence on this day in 1946. In 1942 it was the 1st American bombing mission over enemy-occupied Europe. a little known fact that the plane was fueled by Harry Truman Bozarth.

and type in keyword bozarth incredible. Let me know if you find anything. Frankly I would be surprised.

YES, It is a shame that your family doesn't do more together...a shame indeed. Why Aunt Jamima Bozarth would surely be disappointed in all of you!!!
Happy 4th of July to everyone who visits here.

I do wish we could all be together. It seems you all have so much fun, and my kids and I are never there. At least Rob and Beata will make it to Craig and Megan's wedding. That will mean a lot to me.

You forgot on this day in history, two year old Joe Bozarth danced up a storm in the backyard. And was forever known as Twister.

Yes, it will be fun to see Rob and Beata at the wedding, and I am even more excited to go ourselves after having the chance to talk to Megan about the wedding details this weekend...She really is excited, and I think they are both glad so many are planning to make it. Hopefully this won't be an event in history that a Bozarth makes some ever lasting memory!!!Unless Craig plans to dance in his boxers at his own wedding.

Don't you remember that Franklin Delano Bozarth got "polio" on July 4. It wasn't real polio he was just sick of standing. Or Klaus Barbie Bozarth was convicted of nazi war crimes. He was nicknamed the "Butcher of Good Jokes" for his terrible deeds.
