Yes I am going to be on vacation again next week. I can't wait. After working almost 60 hours the past 3 weeks I need a break. That is 60 each week not a total of 60 for all 3 weeks. We are going back to Branson and Silver Dollar City. We had or at least I had a great time last year, the Christmas lights everywhere was truly a sight to see. Looking forward to watching the Christmas shows and plays they have and just spending time with my bride. I hope it's cold so she will cuddle up next to me when we take the train ride.
Here is a picture of Cindy and her little Joey Bear.

Some of the many Christmas lights.

The finale of the play Scrooge. Yep it's snowing.

God bless us everyone.

I highly recommend this trip to EVERYONE>>>especially if you have a "joey bear" to snuggle up with. I am going to try the wassel for sure this year, and roasted chestnuts. And am looking forward to the campfire food, and hot apple turnovers again...And spending time with my honey, looking at the beautiful lights, and having that Christmas Feeling wrapped all around us...can't wait sweetie.
oh, and Happy Birthday to my sweet Grandma Mary today....I still miss her, and with Thanksgiving around the corner, I am going to say I miss her noodles too...NO one elses even come close.
I am not a big noddle lover but I loved her noodles, and miss her too.
You call it campfire food, I call it BOWL OF GOODNESS.
And hot apple turnovers the size of a pie,YUM YUM ;)
Sounds like fun. Hope you guys have a great time.
It is so refreshing to see how much you guys still enjoy each other after all these years. You are truly a role model for all of us with less years under our belts than you! Have a great time!
Todd and I went to Branson and Silver Dollar City for our Honeymoon at thanksgiving time and LOVED the christmas lights and loved Silver Dollar City. Todd still teases me about sitting on the curb at SDC knawing on the hugest smoked turkey leg. But it was cold out and it was SOOO good, that and the hot spiced cider. Have a great time!!! Take some great pictures!
Oh-how I envy you to be taking a trip and relaxing at this time of year. I have always wanted to go to branson in the fall or at Christmas....but then I married a hunter.Have a wonder ful time-looking forward to seeing the pictures and hearing the food menu
I'd love to go too but I also married a hunter. In fact she's hunting for the remote as I type. Have a wonderful time!
Jay...this is killer...you are the funniest!!! (I bet Andrea typed this for you--right?)
Cindy, Jay actually did type that himself. Some of my great sense of humor has rubbed off on him. I also do spend a lot of time hunting for the remote, because Jay's always storing it in the icebox. He thinks the batteries stay fresher if kept cold. He's never driven a car.
