IT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS

I am happy to report that Jer did not win either Texas Hold'em tournament we had. She was the first one out the first game. But her excuse, I heard her tell Rob was, we play different here. I think the difference is, we don't let people win here like they do in North Carolina. Up here in the north country you have to earn the victory.

I did get a little concerned when Jay called and said he wouldn't be here, because he usually has my back when we play on Pokerstars. But also like when I am on Pokerstars by myself without Jay I usually win. That was the case yesterday. I spilt the pot 1st and 2nd both games.

It was a small turn out this year at the cemetery, all the sickness going around played a big part in that. Also the fact that no one surprised us. I guess that doesn't surprise me.

Time to check my calendar and see who's birthday is coming up next.

To all that missed the festivities yesterday I hope you can make it next year. We all had a great time like usual.

We really wanted to be there! I was hungry all day for chili. YOU ROCK Joe! Did Jer even come close to winning?

It really was a great time and the food was even better than usual too. Many warm appetizers as well as 3 different soups. All the chili went again this year, as Joe does make a mean pot of soup! It looks like everyone was tired of sweets though as Kelly's cookies were the only dessert besides the homemade candies. It seemed like the Texas Hold'em lasted forever, but we still got some games in. Beth is a whiz at Catch Phrase, so grab her to be on your team if you play. I love our new game Scene It, but it was harder to play with so many on a team, but still fun. Thanks to all that could make it, and I hope you can ALL be here next year.

It was a good time---the home videos of Aunt Cindy's fashion choices was definitely the highlight for me :)

Thanks Joe and Cindy so much for a great day. The food was great and the games a lot of fun. It was so nice to see everyone. Thanks Cindy for doing the flowers on the grave. I went out about a hour after you did with roses also so we must have been thinking the same thing.

Andrea, I was the first one out in the first poker match, and number four or five in the second match. Bad bad all around. No excuses, I just played badly.

We do play differently in NC--it's a bit more organized. But as I told Jan, when with Bozarths do as the Bozarths do. :) And it's my pleasure to do so, because it was so much fun. I mean it...I didn't even mind losing so horribly.

The other games were so much fun too. My team won Scene It (yes, Beth was on my team). And my team won Catch Phrase--yes, Beth was on my team. :) So I take no credit for either win.

It really was a nice day, and Joe was with me on the flowers. I still go out to the cemetary almost every week to check on my parents, and I had already done Jill's in the fall, and got her the angel, but thought for pictures mom and dad needed some too. Glad you didn't mind, and hopefully the ones you got will be good for spring.

Jess, my current fashion choices (and hairstyles) really aren't much better...I am always looking to do something new...maybe I will take your advice and start mis-matching my clothes, and slap on some silly hats! Maybe I am just before my time.

The food choices were GREAT this year...I ate too much as usual---Maybe we can convince EVERYONE to be here next year???? (might be the last in this house..joe and I are talking of downsizing toward our retirement)
