HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM

I'll bring you a beer this afternoon, or some nerve medicine as you use to call it. I think you had plenty of nerve, you had 9 kids. I know a lot of us think you maybe watching over us. But please turn all your attention to Jay and family. They could use the extra prayers. Thanks for having so many kids, there will always be someone here to take care of us in time of need. It is Jay's turn now. Jay just say the word and we will let you move in with Jer. If you feel like having a beer tonight come on over, I'll even buy. Love you mom and love you Jay.

how could that cute little girl be the mother of 9???? Happy Birthday Elaine, we all still miss you, especially your kids. You would have been so pleased with all the grandkids and great grandkids...they fill our lives. Give Jay a little hug from above and let him know everything will be ok...he has 7 siblings that have his back, not to mention being blessed with 2 of the best daughters ever born and a supportive wife that KNOWS what marriage vows mean. We are here for you Jay...the door is always open for you. (of course there is that pesky neighbor to be concerned about)

Happy Birthday Grandma! I don't know how you did it with 9 kids, I can barely handle 3 some days. You were an amazing woman. Jay, we are thinking of you and your family today. Be proud of your hard work over the years and know that the right door will open for you very soon.

I also have a couple of pictures of Grandma on my blog today for my flashback friday. I didn't even realize it was her birthday when I did it.

Happy Birthday Elaine! Jay could use a hug from above. It's surreal to watch the news and hear them report Prairie Farms has closed. Jay is lucky to have siblings that have his back and we (Suzie, Liza and I) are lucky to have Jay.
Jay and I are both touched by all the emails and calls. It's a recession when your neighbor loses his job, it's a depression when you lose yours!

If we moved in with Jer would we be expected to walk the dogs?

I still expect my morning phone call from Elaine-had to discuss the woes of the world...and the family of course.Maybe I was in line to replace Aunt Betty. Still miss you Elaine.Sorry you missed out on the laughs these great grand-children would have given you. Jay and Andrea-I am sure the shock is still not over-but count your blessings(you have so many) and Jay enjoy the "vacation" before Andrea kicks you out to pound the pavement for a new job!

I always loved this picture. She really was a cutie. I did not look at the post yesterday because I knew it was your birthday and these days I seem to cry very easily like right now. The greatest gift you gave us is a big family. At times we may disagree with one another but we will always be there for one another. Extra hugs and love to Jay and family. This too shall come to pass. Love ya Mom and miss you terribly.

Just got back home from Chicago. We all thought about Mom at the same time. And Jill's birthday was the day before--they had a great relationship when Jill was a wee one. Miss you, Mom.
