HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

To all you mother's out there, you know who you are.
Where would this family be without mother's.

I hope you all get to share some time with or at least talk to all you children. I hope you are all treated the way you deserve to be treated on your special day.

To all of our deceased mother's, we love you and miss you all.

And to my favorite mother, the mother of my children. You are a very loving and generous mom. We all love you and appreciate everything you do.

Well at least I do.

What a wonderful sentiment, we are all so lucky to have had such a great Mom and to be surrounded by such wonderful Mom's, our family is truly blessed. I just got two wonderful Mother books from my children, a dozen roses from my husband, and beautiful cards, what a great day

Being a mom is the BEST gift every granted a woman. I was blessed with 3 of the best children God ever created and am thankful for them every single day. It is my continuous prayer for their happiness, health, and now safety and success in life, wherever that leads them. But I also pray my love for them always leads them home from time to time.

As for my own mom...I miss her very much and never stop wishing for all the time we missed out on when I stupidly assumed there would always be more time.

I wish all the mom's out there the best of days. Even if you are apart from your kids, I hope you feel their love in your hearts.

I've had an awesome Mother's Day so far. My hubby and 3 boys spoil me rotten. I love being their girl.

Happy Mother's Day!

Oh Cindy, you are so right about missing our own moms! It makes Mother's Day bittersweet. So for those of you who still have moms on earth, cherish the time you have with them. Nobody loves you like a mom does and one day memories is all you'll have of them. My daughters remember me on Mother's Day and more importantly make time for me all year. My legacy to them is all the times we've had together. (that and so much life insurance, that unless Jay remarries without a pre-nup, they'll have some hard cold cash)

Love that picture of Cindy and the boys...excuse me, men! Being a Mom is one of those "jobs" that never stops...may change but you are always a MOM.....and only thing to top that is being a Grandma!Hope all you moms had a super-duper Mother;s Day!

I echo all the sentiments. My kids both called me while I was driving back from Kentucky. Made the trip easier. And waiting for me on my front porch was a lovely flower arrangement from Rob and Beata. Sure made me smile.

I totally agree that being a mom is the best giftever! I only pray my 'babies' have happy, healthy, long lives ahead of them & that they always know how much I love them.

Well Beth I don't know how romatic you will think I am after I tell you what I bought Cindy for Mother's Day......In my defense it is what she ask for........ a carpet cleaner......ouch babe..... But I did buy one that only fits my hand so that is good.

Joe, see #4 on this list I read last week:

Ouch
I will have to look up father's day worst gifts, mine will probably be on there. It is funny though to read some of the comments about gifts. Most women sound like they would want a new mixer or vacuum.
I know I need a new sidewalk edger, is that about the sameas a vacuum for a women?

I love my gift...and the fact that it is self cleaning is the bonus I was after. I don't think there is a mom, or wife alive that doesn't love their husband far more when he is willing to help out around the house. There is nothing sexier than a man behind the vacuum or that gets up with a baby at night so his wife can sleep. Joe's done his share of both...I love you honey.

I've always been interested in those vacuum cleaners that are round and supposedly vacuum while you do something else!
Cindy is right, there is nothing sexier than a man who knows how to soothe a baby and fold laundry.

That was me, Andrea, I don't know why I wrote "Jay" except I was remembering all the times he pitched in and helped after working on the dock for 10 hours.

Come to think of it, Jay might be interested in one of those vacuum cleaners though. He's always wanted this hand held sewing machine they used to advertise on TV all the time.
