HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUNK

Yes Dunk would have hit the big 5 0 today.

All those good times we had. Like going down to Red Miller's filling station and getting old inner tubes and cutting them up in to big rubber bands. What Bozarth kid didn't have a rubber band gun.
Those leaf trails in the back yard.

And Slow motion football in the front yard.

Oh and one of my favorites. Sleeping on the front porch.

GOOD TIMES

I'm glad you have such good memories of a good friend and of your childhood..It always sound so comical to me that you all found such pleasure in things like making your own rubber bands, and having a color sand stand, or just knocking little army men over in the dining room. I am not sure you kids realize just how darn lucky you were being so poor!

Yeah, being poor forced us to use our imagination.

Happy birthday to Dunk. You were a good friend to him, Joe.

I didn't like to play slow motion football. Joe cheated and moved to fast. Leaf trails were okay until Joe made me rake them all by myself when we were done. He would also say " Don't shoot at the face and then nail me right in the mouth with a big rubber band. All in all, I didn't like 1815 Spring Street much. Later.
