George Carlin dies

Hundreds and hundreds of nights when we went to bed we would put on a stack of albums and that was how we fell asleep. George Carlin, Bill Cosby, Don Rickles, Hudson and Landry and many more. George Carlin was so insightful, he talked about things that we all see everyday but just the way he delivered it was comic genius. You still can't say the 7 words on broadcast TV but you can say some of them on cable. FCC where did you go. But I guess that debate is for another time.

Yes, so many people we grew up "with" are dying off. I'm glad he's at least older than I am. Too many are younger than me when they die. That really makes you think....

I'm glad you have such great memories of doing things with your brothers. I am sure you had so much fun laughing it up with George and the others. I know when these icons of our childhood pass on they take a piece of a great time in our lives with them. Time to grow up a little more boys....or not!
