It was a beautiful night for football.... Last Friday night. The air was crisp and clear. Great football weather. Well as the game continued it appeared evident that it was not going to be our most exciting game. But wait....Here comes those cute cheerleaders. And what is that in their hands? Oh my it's those t-shirts that Adam designed. I got to catch one this time. I have never, up to then caught anything at a football, baseball or basketball game. This was going to be my night. One of the cheerleaders came down our way, I stood up, she saw me, I put my hands up and she gave me the head nod. It was as if we were a pitcher and catcher in a major league baseball game. I was ready, she had the t-shirt in her right hand. As she got ready to throw she put the t-shirt in her left hand. Oh no a southpaw, will the left-handed cutie put a nasty spin on the t-shirt causing it to go who knows where. But as she released it I could see my newly found booty heading my way. Oh no That bastard in the aisle across from me got his hand on it . NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
And he tipped it, I got it, I got it. My first prize ever caught at a game.
Jerry Rice would have been proud of me.
later that same game
here comes those cheerleaders again.
Is it possible
She throws one my way, it is a little high but I jumped up and tipped it enough and it fell right down in to my face and then right in my hands. I did it, I caught 2 goodies in the same night.
I am somebody.
But wait something's wrong, I can't see. The greed has blinded me. It was like Ralphie in A Christmas Story....... could I have shot my eye out. Here someone take this shirt so I can see again. But no my vision is not coming back and it did not return until about 2 hours later. Yes that's right the second t-shirt knocked my contact out.
I keep looking for a moral to this story but have none. Either way those 2 t-shirts are going to cost me about $80.

I just laughed out loud & snorted at work....that makes me the girl that snorts. Thanks a lot Uncle Joe for the laugh, but now I'm going to be laughed at all day.
Me too, Jessi.
Sorry for your trouble, Joe, but that was hilarious. Now you and Cindy both have T-shirts that Adam designed, but unfortunately you can't see them.
more unfortunately, he caught a medium and a large, and NEITHER will fit him, as mine is an xl and barely fits.(truly, they run small and shrink) He gave one to Kris and one to Kelly.... Great posting honey. You made me laugh too, and Today I needed it.
What - nothing about the 'little' cheerleaders at half time? Kayla will be crushed.
But hilarious as usual!!
I think the moral to the story is not to be greedy......If you had been happy with T-shirt #1, and let someother nice person catch the next-that t-shirt would have been free. It was the 2nd shirt that actually cost you $80! Do you "see" that? Still the blog is always good for a morning laugh!
2 Shirts... 1 of which you could have sent to your darling little boy who would have loved a package. But it's ok. I'll be fine. I mean, who would want to wear a shirt his brother made, huh?
I thought I was throwing the shirts to a fifth grade boy that I felt sorry for being so short. Loser!
Repulsed,
Cute Cheerleader
Oh god Jeff, you cracked me up too. I need this in the midst of all my craziness.... would like to sleep until I'm moved.
What little cheerleaders? I didn't see any little cheerleaders.
It's all fun and games till someone loses a contact.
