Remember When
Lyrics , song by Alan Jackson
Remember when I was young and so were you
And time stood still and love was all we knew
You were the first, so was I
We made love and then you cried
Remember whenRemember when we vowed the vows
and walked the walk
gave our hearts, made the start, it was hard
We lived and learned, life threw curves
There was joy, there was hurt
Remember when
Remember when old ones died and new were born
And life was changed, disassembled, rearranged
We came together, fell apart
And broke each other's hearts
Remember when
Remember when the sound of little feet
was the music
We danced to week to week
Brought back the love, we found trust
Vowed we'd never give it up
Remember when
Remember when thirty seemed so old
Now lookin' back, it's just a steppin' stone
To where we are, where we've been
Said we'd do it all again
Remember when
Remember when we said when we turned gray
When the children grow up and move away
We won't be sad, we'll be glad
For all the life we've had
And we'll remember when
Remember when
Cindy thanks for coming along that cold March night. I have always felt like there was an angel watching over me. It's been great sharing these last 27 years with you. Looking forward to the rest of my life with you.

Um I just cried at work....Damn you Uncle Joe!! It was beautiful....hope both of you have amazing days. Thanks for always being there!
Thanks honey, you made me cry too...and I was so ready for a quick-witted "Bozarth" comeback. I guess there is just too much Wegs still left in me! You're the greatest husband (and dad) a girl could wish for. (but did you have to post that damned 8th grade picture????)You are my destiny!
Happy Anniversary Joe & Cindy! Hope you have a wonderful, romantic day! I think you're off to a great start with this touching post!
Beth
Joe you outdid yourself with this one-of course I cried:how could anyone not? Too sentimental-too perfect-too amazing....my only question-how old were you two in that camping picture....12??? Have a wonderful anniversary;enjoy New Salem in your winter coats. Happy 27th
Thanks Jess and Beth, we are heading to Springfield for shopping, sight seeing and some alone time.
Maybe I can buy a new computer, just kidding Cindy.
Thank Paulette
and thanks again for supper the other night. Enjoyed your company, OK yours too John.
Happy Anniversary!! You guys are the perfect example of what a marriage should be!! I loved the pictures (Cindy that's the first baby picture I've seen of you) and the lyrics to that song are perfect. Enjoy your night away. If you go to Olive Garden, eat a bread stick for me!
Happy Anniversary you two! Beautiful job Joe.
Happy anniversary you guys. Hope all your days are "happy ever after." Love, Jer
I only have one question.
WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE????
Happy Anniversary to Cindy & Joe - not to whoever these people are.
You think I am on the wrong blob? Huh??
If you take away the half day I had to work, our 27th Anniversary was almost a perfect day (I'd have to be 50# lighter, and 27 years younger for it to be perfect)Thanks to everyone for the well wishes, and for not making fun of my 7th grade picture, which I would have nailed anyone else on. The picture in Colorado was in 1981, so I was 21, not 12, though looking back that long I feel like I should have been 12. The 'baby' picture is my 1 year old portrait...I think I look a lot like Chuck in it, but like it anyway. I do wonder sometimes who that couple in the wedding photo are...we have really changed. But by far, the best picture in this blogging, is my beautiful baby boys. There is NOTHING greater to come from our marriage than these boys...They are our fulfilment, and I love them more than any words can convey....I just wonder how JOE and I could make such beautiful children????Thanks again to everyone that 'stopped by' and wished us well.
Joe and Cindy,
A very Happy Anniversary to you guys. Joe, the blog was beautiful! (snif, it brought a tear!) You are both wonderful, as are your gorgeous boys and I am so honored to be a part of your lives! We love you loads.
