I think right now Adam is living his own personal PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES. He was to leave last night from the Quincy airport at 5:20. we brought him out there at 4:45. He walked up to the counter and the gal said Adam? "Yes I am." She said I got good news and bad news. The bad news your plane is not leaving until 7:00 but the good news is your connecting flight out of St Louis is also late. You will still make the connection. But in case you don't we already got you a room in St Louis. So Cindy brought me back into town so I could get a nap before work. Then she took Adam back out to the airport. Well the plane ended up leaving at 7:40 so Adam missed his flight out of St Louis and the Airline put him up for the night there. There was another guy catching the same flight, I hope they don't have to share a bed. He had to get up at 4:30 this morning to catch his flight. So now when he gets in at the airport today he still has to go to work. He should be getting in at New York around 9 or so as long as he didn't get diverted to Kansas City and then sleep with Del Griffith.
Hopefully he won't have to live the whole movie scenario.

Poor Adam!! One thing I hate about travel...it's so unpredictable!! Hope you arrived safely!!
Adam, Glad all this mix-up was on the return flight not the homecoming one. Hope you made it to work-and could stay awake and WORK......glad you got home for the holiday!
Adam took it all in stride...his mother DID NOT>>>>He told me I needed to stop worrying(yeah, right) and fussing over him, he could deal with it all...My big Boy!! I really wasn't worried as much as I was pissed that we paid the extra for the convenience of 'flying into Quincy'...that WAS convenient, but the flying out was NOT>>>>NEVER again--I'll brave the drive to St Louis and save the aggrevation.
I hope you are home and working by now Adam, and good luck this week with your evaluation! Love you!!
adam arrived in NY about 9, then went straight to work, bags and all. I am sure he was worn out, and they let him off early, and he was home when Joe talked to him...I hope he gets caught up on his sleep tonight, and over the weekend. I am so glad he was able to make it home this year, as it would have been so hard to have him leave this year as well as miss the holidays.
I'm glad Adam arrived safely! That might be why I never travel. (nah)
