Our party just got over, we had John, Paulette, Jay and Andrea over for a 157th Birthday party for us 3 boys. Our combined age is 157. We are getting old. Well at least John is. Andrea's favorite line all night was you should blog that Joe, but actually I don't remember any of it now. It was all good then but now......nothing. We went through our usual $200 worth of lottery tickets, with no big winners. Cindy did such a great job on dinner, it was all delicious. Ham, green bean casserole, hash brown casserole, corn, and so much more. And the birthday cake was awesome.
Oh and I can't forget Ice Cream from PRAIRIE FARMS for Jay.

CINDY IS OUR TREE DECORATED YET?

Great pics. So glad you all had a good time. God bless us every one. (Sorry, but I saw A Christmas Carol over the weekend.)
Jay and I has so much fun. I laughed so much my ribs are sore this morning. (blog that) The food was delicious and we had SO much fun! Between the lottery ticket runs and Texas poker somebody ought be able to quit one of their night jobs. Captain Morgan's presence was noted and appreciated!
ARRRR!
ARRRR matey thanks for invite'n me, me timbers arrrrrre still shiverin'
I'm glad you could make it, Captain Morgan. Please don't make me swab the poop deck. A good time was had by all, with such good hosts it wasn't a surprise!
I see it still smells like pine needles in here. Happy birthday you old Bozarth Building and Loan.
I snuck a couple winning lottery tickets away from you guys last night hope you don't miss them. I need them from my trip to The Marblehead
Aunt Mimi, I'm sure you did. Even though it wasn't YOUR birthday party, thanks for glomming on to us.
you guys crack me UP...I never laughed so hard. and I KNOW jay and andrea hussled us all at Texas Poker....said they never played and won every round..I've been had. Aunt Mimi would NOT appreciate that one bit!!! I am sure I have never seen so many lotto tickets before in my life..I am still hearing that scratching noise. And yes, dear Joe, I was decorating the tree while you were all sulking in the dining room...sorry you missed it.
Get these garbage bags off me, I can't breathe.
Looks like you all had a great time. I'm sure it was fun having your birthdays together growing up. 157--You ARE getting up there a bit!!
Happy Birthday Dad, Uncle Joe and Uncle Jay!
Kelly, imagine how easy it was to be your Grandma Elaine...one cake and one gift to share...a bowl of cornflakes with water, or one clinker grabber.....it all adds up to 3 happy boys, and one happy husband in March.
NOW it takes 200 lotto tickets and a gallon of Cap't Morgan.
Joe it's cold outside. Five degrees. It's Monday I don't want to go to work. I bought Coke with lime in it by mistake. I HATE lime. I'm tired and it's not even 6 am for heaven's sake. I HATE LIME. Also, on the news, a house caught on fire from a space heater. I HAVE a space heater. Also there was a fire last week, started by a candle. I HAVE a candle. Why can't it be Saturday night again, when it was all good.
Captain Morgan didn't have any lime. I HATE LIME, especially in Coke. I might hate Coke now too. I'll let you know later. Thanks for letting me use your blog to whine. I have to go get ready for work, hair, make up, oy in never ends. I HATE LIME.
That is a picture full of ugly....
just kidding! Happy Birthday guys!!
The fact that you bought that 12 pack of Coke with Lime saved all those men on that transport. You see if you would have bought the regular Coke without the Lime you would have started a chain reaction set forth by the very Lime picker himself. Had he not had the Lime picking job he never would have join the service and was actually on the very transport the Harry Bailey saved.
That would have been a hard 12 pack of guilt to swallow.
I hope ANdrea didn't quit her day job just because she hustled us in Texas poker-or has she already left for Vegas? Cindy-the dinner was delicious especially that cake!
John helped me decorate our tree ....or rather forced him. He had never seen most of the ornaments and kept saying "look at this one..."like after 36 years I had not ever seen them! Happy Birthday Boys With Capt Morgan coming now to the parties I am once again driving home
I'm glad I saved some lives with that 12 pack of lime Coke. ( I hate LIME) Paulette I went to work with my winnings. I had trouble getting one of those dollar bills in the Pepsi machine (I wasn't going to risk that whole LIME disaster again) and it ripped. The cafeteria lady taped it for me and I have money for lunch all week.
and again I say lets not wait another 28 years to do this again....I wish we'd have gotten a copy of your picture from 1978, Paulette...I say we do it again, next year...never miss a chance for Cap't Morgan to sail!! And who is going to support the children in the schools if we quit playing the lotto? Then there is a questio of that $14 bucks that we need to get back from Jay and Andrea at Texas Poker....I'm out for blood next year!!!
I once won a huge amount at Texas Poker and I only started with a couple dollars somebody lent me. I forgot to pay them back after I won though.
Happy Birthdays, my Uncles! You guys looks so happy and so drunk too! ;-) I love the cake and the candles! I bet it was a lot of fun! Best wishes to all three of you! Love, Beata and Rob.
