MY ALMOST HEAVEN

In 3 days we will be on our way to Branson and Silver Dollar City. I can't wait and I am to excited to sleep. Yes this will be our third year in a row to go there and I know some say try something new but to those people I say, mind your own business. :-X No really, I have always loved going to Silver Dollar City, ever since that first trip with John, Paulette, Kelly and Matt. It was during a very hot spell and they didn't have air conditioning in their car. Good times.

Today I still love going there. and the new experience of going at Christmas time just makes it that much more enjoyable. Every time I walk in to SDC I have a smile on my face.

Cindy with a couple home boys.

Christmas lights everywhere, hot wassail, and snuggling with my baby. That's my idea of almost heaven. Yes I love my kids and they will be missed......NOT. It is hard to believe how much fun we have out in the cold weather. The open car train ride and last year we even rode a roller coaster, now that was cocoold. BUT I am looking forward to during it all again. Well accept for those water rides, let's not do them this year Brrrrrrrr. We are going to try to do a couple things we have never done before, hopefully it will keep Cindy interested enough to go back next year. Can't wait.
The finale of the play Dickens' a Christmas Carol.
Yep it is snowing.

It looks like heaven to me! If that doesn't get you in the Christmas spirit, nothing will. I love the picture of Cindy..she looks like a little girl all excited about Santa Claus! Have fun you two!!!

I'm really excited about our trip this year...Joe bought me tickets to Dixie Stampede for our anniversary, and I hear you should never even go to Branson and not go to that show. We've NEVER been so I am looking forward to it...especially the 5 course meal. I can't wait to get my hands on a warm funnel cake and some hot wassel....are you getting this is all about he food for me? Truly the lights are wonderful and the shows are so well done, and just long enough that you can do other things too. I can't wait for the weekend!!! (and I do feel like a little girl there...though still not willing to sit on Santa's lap risking leg injury to our jolly old elf)

Oh how I envy you....I have always wanted to go to branson either during their Crafts in September or at Christmas....have fun. The Dixie Stampede sounds great-I am sure Joe can always "bribe" you to return-if just with shopping!!!!

Branson during the holidays is awesome. Ever since we went there on our honeymoon over thanksgiving, I've wanted to go back. I would love to take the boys sometime over thanksgiving break. Have a lot of fun. Please drink a mug of hot spiced cider for me. That and a big turkey drumstick were the highlights for me.
